Hello everyone!
I’d like to share my impressions of a family trip to this wonderful beach resort (Le Meridien Bodrum Beach Resort).
My family (my husband, our child, and I) immediately considered Bodrum as our seaside destination, as we had already heard many positive reviews from friends and acquaintances about this place. All that remained was to decide on the dates and accommodations.
We chose the dates from May 17, 2024, to May 22, 2024, based on the idea that by then the sea would be warm enough for swimming and that airfares would be lower compared to the May holidays.
For booking the hotel, again based on recommendations from friends and acquaintances, we used Ostrovok (our equivalent of booking.com) and paid using a Russian card on the website.
Our main criteria for choosing a place were: accommodation right by the sea in comfortable rooms with a sea view, quality of service, necessary infrastructure, and, if possible, the absence of large crowds of tourists.
After considering many interesting options, we settled on the beach resort Le Meridien Bodrum Beach Resort. We were very impressed with the “villa/residence” option (a spacious living room with a dedicated and well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms: one large with a luxurious bed and a smaller one for our child, a guest room, a large terrace, and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows all around with a sea view!!!). It was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities including reliable Wi-Fi, and the frequency of cleaning, linen, and towel changes was set as per your preference. All costs were transparently listed, making everything very convenient and clear.
The resort itself has excellent infrastructure: a well-equipped beach, a superb restaurant, an intriguing detox café (highly recommended), a spa complex, both outdoor and indoor pools, and a gym. Everything is very intimate—you hardly ever run into other guests—and the beautiful nature surrounds you, with blooming trees everywhere.
If you’re interested in learning more about Bodrum’s history, there’s an option to book a tour of Old Bodrum (the hotel reception can arrange a taxi to suit any taste) and combine the outing with some excellent shopping at the Mall located along the dock, where luxurious yachts are moored. The Mall also houses restaurants for every taste.
I could go on for ages about our journey and share my enthusiastic impressions because everything was truly delightful—the experience exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend this wonderful place, and I myself plan to return in September, but this time with my girlfriends. They offer some very interesting retreat packages, including a “girls’ day out.”
